Diamond Mineralized Water Expands Horizons with New Italian Partnership
Villa Petriolo is a so-called luxury sustainable farm, in the heart of Tuscany, located in Cerreto Guidi near Florence. A place that welcomes its guests like a high-class hotelwhile also providing its guests organic farm to table goods.
The hosts, María and Héctor Cuadra, made sustainability the core of Villa Petriolos DNA and it can be seen through the overall commitment incorporating into the smallest of everyday actions.
Regionality is key for the organic estate, founded by the two Mexican-born visionaries, which is why most of the products come directly from own fields. What is not grown on-site is taken from small, local suppliers who are likeminded in their sustainability commitments.
Guests at Villa Petriolo can be certain about the high quality and sustainability of all products. Villa Petriolo is committed to environmental stewardship, implementing eco-friendly initiatives such as organic farming, renewable energy usage, and waste reduction programs. The estate has received multiple awards, including the Michelin Green Star and the Sustainability Award 2023.
To take María’s and Héctor’s initiative one step further, Villa Petriolo now offers Diamond Mineralized Water. This exclusive Tuscan water, locally filtered and mineralized, is always freshly prepared and bottled in the restaurant. This eliminates the need for bottled water, which significantly reduces CO2 emissions from transportation. The mineralization process is patented by BWT and 100% natural, similar to an artesian well where water flows over rock layers, being purified and enriched with valuable minerals. Herewith trace elements, such as Magnesium and Silicate will enhance the taste appeal and strengthen the overall well-being.
PS Ristorante is the on-site organic restaurant at Villa Petiolo that is a perfect mix of tradition and innovation. A restaurant with its own personality that enhances it and shows it in every area, not only in the food but in the experience as a whole.
